The Strafford County Commissioners are accepting sealed proposals for the following item(s):
Upgrade of Camera System – Strafford County DOC
Mandatory Site Review April 28th, 8 AM Main Jail Entrance
266 County Farm Rd. Dover, NH
Last July, we put out a solicitation to upgrade the camera system and cabling for the Strafford County Department of Corrections. During the walk-through, it became apparent that we did not have the information needed for a successful bidding process. With the help of Avigilon, we have new specifications for your review.
While one company was instrumental in helping to develop these documents, the bids can include products by any manufacturer providing they meet or exceed the specifications.
This project will have a Mandatory walk through on April 28th, 2023. Walk through will begin at 8:00am and will meet at the main entrance of the jail, 266 County Farm Rd, Dover NH for health screening and sign- in.
PLEASE NOTE: Equipment specifications are attached, but for security purposes, drawings will be furnished at the walk-through.
Masks usage will be determined by our outbreak status at the time of the walk-through.
Any questions not asked at the walk-through must be submitted in writing by 4PM on May 4th, all questions with the answers will be posted on the Current Bids section of the county website.
Bids must be received by May 25 at 9AM in the Commissioner’s Office.

Specifications are available by contacting Gwen Weisgarber @ 603-516-5132 or by visiting the Current Bids section of the county website. All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Jail Cameras” and must be received by May 25th @9AM at the Strafford County Commissioners Office, 259 County Farm Road - Suite 204, Dover, NH 03820.
The Strafford County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids/ proposals, to award the bid to other than the low bidder if deemed “bid most advantageous to the County” and to waive any defects in bids.
