BUILDING COVID-19 PROTOCOL

The Strafford County Courthouse building will be open to the public.

For the purposes of preventing the spread of COVID-19, all persons entering the building should:

Self-screen for COVID-19 signs and symptoms. If anyone reports symptoms they should not enter the building.

Business should be conducted in a remote manner, if/when possible.

Anyone reporting household contact to someone with COVID-19 (in the past 14 days) should not enter the building.

In accordance with the New Hampshire Judicial Branch (NHJB), unvaccinated people should continue to wear a face covering although they are not required to. Applicable to all areas of the Strafford County Courthouse.

Face coverings should be encouraged, NOT enforced.

Vaccination status is an honor system.

DO NOT ask others about vaccination status;

Face coverings offered to everyone;

It is the choice of the individual to wear a face covering.

Operations such as Probation/Parole, Community Corrections, etc. will operate under their own authority regarding inquiry of vaccination status.

Electronic/Remote means to conduct business are still encouraged; however, business may be conducted in person.

Social Distancing and Hand Hygiene are encouraged but not enforced.

For specific information related to Court Operations such as: media coverage, jury trial protocols, electronic services, etc.

From Portland via Portsmouth

Directions to County Complex

Take I-95 South to Portsmouth. In Portsmouth, take the Spaulding Turnpike, Route 16, to Exit 9, Dover/Somersworth. Go left at the end of the exit ramp at the set of lights onto the Indian Brook Road. Take a right at the set of lights at the end of this road, onto Sixth Street (Liberty Mutual will be straight ahead). Go one mile, take a left onto County Farm Road. Take this Road for one mile; you will see the Justice and Administration Building (Courthouse) on the right and the Rest Home/Jail/Alms House Complex on the left.

From Concord

Directions to County Complex

Take Route 4 to the Lee Traffic Circle. Go half way around circle back on to Route 4. Take first exit off Route 4 to Route 155. Take Left onto Route 155 and follow Route 155 to the Spaulding Turnpike North. Take Exit 9 off Spaulding Turnpike (first exit). Take a left off exit at lights; to next set of lights (Liberty Mutual across the road). Take a right onto Sixth Street Extension. Go one mile, take a left onto County Farm Road. Take this Road for one mile; you will see the Justice and Administration Building (Courthouse) on the right and the Rest Home/Jail/Alms House Complex on the left.

From Manchester

Directions to County Complex

Take Route 101 East to Route 125. Take Route 125 North to the Lee Traffic Circle. Take a right hand turn after the Mobil Station on Circle towards Route 4 (first exit). Take first exit off Route 4 to Route 155. Take Left onto Route 155 and follow Route 155 to the Spaulding Turnpike North. Take Exit 9 off Spaulding Turnpike (first exit). Take a left off exit at lights; to next set of lights (Liberty Mutual across the road). Take a right onto Sixth Street Extension. Go one mile, take a left onto County Farm Road. Take this Road for one mile; you will see the Justice and Administration Building (Courthouse) on the right and the Rest Home/Jail/Alms House Complex on the left.

 
From Boston

Directions to County Complex

From Logan Airport: The entrance and exit are a one-way, proceed out of airport. As you are leaving the airport, get on Route 1, North toward New Hampshire. Stay on Route 1 North for about 15 miles. Take Exit to Route 95 North to New Hampshire. Stay on 95 North until you enter New Hampshire, about 30 miles. About 10 miles after you cross the New Hampshire border, you will see signs for the Spaulding Turnpike, Route 16. This is a left-hand Exit at the fork in the highway. It says, to White Mountains, Route 16, Spaulding Turnpike. Go approximately 10 miles to Dover; take Exit 9 off Spaulding Turnpike. Go one mile, take a left onto County Farm Road. Take this Road for one mile; you will see the Justice and Administration Building (Courthouse) on the right and the Rest Home/Jail/Alms House Complex on the left.
