2024 Summer EBT are now available - Please Read

LIMITED TIME ONLY. 2024 SUN Bucks offered Nov. 15th - Dec. 15th, 2024.

Families with children may be eligible for an additional $120 in grocery benefits per child through the Summer-EBT distribution dates.

There are 3 ways to recieve your additional grocery money.  

1. Families will automatically receive the additional benefits on a separate card if your child was enrolled in medicaid, SNAP and school meals in 2023-2024 school year.

2. If your child was enrolled in free school meals last year ('23-'24), you MUST apply to receive the additional benefit here: 

Steps to receive S-EBT benefits:

1. Visit nheasy.nh.gov
2. Click the Summer EBT portal
3. Enter your address before December 15th, 2024 to receive your money card.

It is critical we help families get connected to receive these benefits! There are over 4,600 households (likely over 10,000 kids) that qualify.

 3. If you are at or below 185% Federal Poverty Level and your child didn't participate in Free School Meals, SNAP, or Medicaid last school year ('23-'24) you MUST apply at nheasy.nh.gov between November 15th and December 15th, 2024 to receive your card. 

Important things to know about Summer EBT: 

1. The application portal will only be available between 11/15-12/15/2024.
2. Families will be able to self-attest to their incomes, and they will not have to upload supporting documentation.
3. To opt out you can visit nheasy.nh.gov of auto enrollment of benefits.
4. Eligible families will receive one Summer-EBT card in the mail per household with $120 per eligible child in the household and can be used in the same way as a SNAP EBT card: for food only at food retailers participating in SNAP.
5. Benefits will  only be available for 122 days from receiving your card and then you cannot use them (this is different from SNAP).
6. Families will be expected to keep their card for use next summer.

8. Summer EBT benefits for Summer 2024 are going out this November/December due to issues with start-up, future S-EBT benefits are expected to be distributed in June or during the summer months depending on when eligibility is determined.
